Calling for poetry submissions!
Captain Linda Pauwels in collaboration with CDR Elizabeth Booker (USCG, Ret.) and COL Helmut Reda (USAF, Ret.) – Editor “Because I Fly: A Collection of Aviation Poetry” is calling on current and former military aircrew from all lands to submit poetry for the third book in the Beyond Haiku series: Military Pilots Write Poetry.
The purpose of the Beyond Haiku series of books is to share our experiences and feelings about flying through the eloquence of poetry. It is a shared creative effort featuring haiku and poems by pilots, with illustrations by children of pilots.
The themes in Military Pilots Write Poetry are:
